Congrats go to Wayne Eveleigh on gaining his 1st Kyu Brown Belt at a grading held at Slough Centre Aikido Club on Sunday 5 March.

Congratulations to Slough members Agata Stepczynska, Nick Ellis, Krzys and Maciej Wojcik who successfully completed their Fourth Kyu Orange belt gradings in July. Also to Andrij Shestakow who was another recent successful Orange belt.

At the IoA Winter School Dan Gradings at The Hut Dojo, Sarah Matthews gained her 2nd Dan and Michael Evans and Norman Martin gained 3rd Dan. Here they are pictured with Sensei Lawson Moore and Sensei William Timms of the IoA Governing Board.

IoA Winter School 2017:

A good number of Slough Aikidoka attended the IoA Winter School which was held at the Wycombe Judo Centre over the weekend of 25/26 March. The weekend was a great success and provided an enjoyable opportunity to meet and train with members from other IoA clubs, including Livingstone, Leith, Loughborough, Kingston and The Hut.

Slough Aikidoka visit The Hut Dojo:

Slough Aikidoka plus IoA members from The Hut and Kingston joined a special Training Session at The Hut Dojo on Thursday 16 February to commemorate the Founder of the Institute, Sensei Haydn Foster, who passed away six years ago. The session was led by his grandson, Sensei Paul Foster-Dent.
